General FAQ’s

Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at 12 noon. If you would like to arrange for a late check out, please contact the front desk. Contactless check-in is available via the OpenKey app. Our front desk associates are also available to help you with your check-in or check-out, should you prefer assistance.

The Ameswell Hotel is committed to our guests’ wellness. All guest rooms and public spaces on the property are 100% non-smoking, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes and marijuana. If the smoking policy is violated in a guest room, an automatic minimum fee of $250 will be charged to cover the cost of restoring the room to a smoke or vapor free environment. This fee may increase based on the condition of the room.

Yes, The Ameswell Hotel has a state-of-the-art, 1,600 square foot fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows. You will find a wide range of strength training and cardio equipment from free weights to Peloton bikes and live classes streaming on the Mirror. In-person yoga and other classes will resume during the warmer Spring months of 2024.

At this time, we do not offer room service. However, you can place your order for pick-up in the comfort of your room or as you are waiting for your Uber at the airport! You can place your order for pick-up via Toast Online Ordering for both The Flyby Café and Roger Bar and Restaurant here.

Our front desk staff can help you with any of your business needs during your stay with us. Copy, print, scan and fax services are available. There may be a minimal charge associated with these services. Ultra high-speed WiFi is available throughout the property, and The Flyby, lobby, art gallery and library make wonderful places to work outside of your guest room.

Yes, our outdoor heated saltwater pool is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm. The pool features lounge chairs and two private cabanas. There is also a chair lift for accessibility purposes. Our nearby Airstream bar will re-open later this Spring to serve up delicious snacks and drinks on the weekends.

Yes, The Ameswell Hotel offers a wide range of services from massage to appointments with nutritionists. We have one private treatment room that features a full bath and shower with 100% organic bath amenities by Juice Beauty. You can reserve your treatment room by the hour before or after your treatment and enjoy a private workout or meditation session. Treatments can be booked on our wellness page and are available from 9 am to 7 pm.

No - we do not charge for any resort fees!

Yes, onsite parking is available as well as electric charging stations for $20 per day. There is also storage for your bike, if arriving by two wheels instead of four. If you are visiting us for a meal at Roger or The Flyby, you get three free hours of parking. After three hours, parking will cost $10 per day.

Transportation / Directions

Yes, as part of our commitment to sustainability, we have installed 12 electric car charging stations. Parking is $20 per day in both regular and electric car charging spaces.

We do not offer a complimentary shuttle service.

Yes, we have a large garage that features multiple electric car charging stations. The parking is conveniently located near the entrance to the hotel. The parking fee is $20 per day.

Reservations

We are currently working to add this feature. Please contact guest experience at (650) 880-1000.

We currently do not offer rollaway beds. We have limited Pack-n-Plays, please make your request for a Pack-n-Play during booking.

Unfortunately, you will need to contact the site where you made your reservation. Next time, be sure to book with us directly and we will be happy to help you with any changes in plans!

Our cancellation policies will vary based on the rate booked. The standard cancellation policy for our Best Available Rate is 24 hours prior to arrival.

If your reservation was not booked with a non-refundable cancellation policy, we require a least 24 hours advance notice of your intent to depart early. If we do not receive notice, then you will be billed for the night(s) in question.

For the security of our guests, we require presentation of a valid government-issued identification at the time of check-in.

We have several options for connecting rooms and suites to additional guest rooms. This is on a request basis and based solely on availability at the time of booking.

Accounting

You can speak with someone in our guest experience department about any questions regarding your bill. Please call 650-880-1000 and someone will be happy to help.

We are a cashless establishment however we accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay. Contactless ordering is also available for the dining outlets.

Pets

Yes. The Ameswell Hotel is a dog-friendly hotel. We welcome up to two four-legged friends per guest room. We welcome all friendly dogs, up to 75 lbs. and require a $75 pet fee per stay. Prior to arrival, please be aware of our pet policies and amenities.

Yes, certain rooms are designated as pet-friendly rooms. Pets are not allowed in other guest rooms to ensure the well-being of our guests who may be allergic.

Our spacious lawn is perfect for walking your dog on leash. There is also close access to the Stevens Creek Trail, which is ideal for longer, scenic walks with your pup.
